Thermal insulation
The fibrous structure reduces heat transfer; λ from 0.035 W/mK, depending on the product.
Thermal and acoustic insulation and fire protection for facades, roofs, floors, building services and industrial applications. Boards, mats and loose wool in 13 product families.
TERMIC · ACUSTIC · FOCBasalt wool is a mineral wool made by melting rocks such as basalt, diabase and dolomite at 1400–1500 °C and spinning them into fibres. The fibrous structure insulates against heat and absorbs sound, while its mineral nature contributes to fire protection.
It is produced as boards, mats, pipe sections and loose wool; the form, density and performance are chosen according to use.

The fibrous structure reduces heat transfer; λ from 0.035 W/mK, depending on the product.
The fibres absorb sound waves and reduce reverberation and noise transmission between spaces.
The mineral nature of the material; reaction to fire A1 for the series indicated in the catalogue.

Keeping the packaging intact and protecting the product helps maintain the insulation's properties. Wear protective clothing and equipment for skin, eyes and airways when handling.
For a quote: state the product, variant, thickness, dimensions, quantity and place of use.
Indoors; outdoors, cover the packs completely with a tarpaulin.
Protect the packs from water, moisture and sunlight.
No direct contact with the ground; do not stack pallets during storage or transport.
Cover the load with a tarpaulin and do not place materials on top that could damage the packaging.
Gold and Gold Plus (50–90 kg/m³, λ 0.035 W/mK) are used for ventilated facades and curtain walls. The Premium F range is designed for rendered ETICS systems.
Premium R, with high density and a compressive strength of at least 35 kPa (up to 50 kPa for Premium R 150), for industrial roofs, terraces and pitched roofs.
The mineral nature of the material contributes to fire protection; the series indicated in the catalogue have reaction to fire class A1. For doors, the A1 class of the material does not automatically mean the complete door is fire-rated.
